• We use commercial mulching blades on our lawn mowers. Mulching your grass adds nitrogen back into the soil. Nitrogen is the main ingredient that makes grass green.
  
• We use commercial weed eaters to cut grass in areas our mower will not reach such as corners, against house foundations, and around deck posts.
  
• Our edger is used along driveways, walkways, and street fronts to give definition to your lawn periodically.
  
• Once the above service is completed, we then blow away debris from your driveway, walkway, curb, and back yard areas.
  
• 30 to 35 visits between April and November

• To determine proper limestone and nutrient needs.
  

Fertilizing & Pre-emergent

• Crabgrass Pre-Emergent should be applied in April.(1 to 2 applications)
  
• By making good use of soil tests we create a weed and feed program specifically for your lawn. This is done at strategic times of the year for maximum absorption. We use granular feed that time releases over a 45 to 90 day period.  This will ensure that your lawn absorbs more nutrients over a longer period of time with minimal leaching into groundwater.
  
• Highly organic granular fertilizers are used.(1 to 4 applications)
  
• Special Compost Tea Brews are often used.(6 to 8 applications)

Lawn Core Aeration

• This should be done twice a year for thatch control and to improve oxygen exchange in the soil.
  

Weed Control - Grass & Beds

• We control weeds by mulching, liquid and granular chemical as well as manually as needed throughout the growing season.

Hedge Shearing & Pruning

• As part of our trim package, we detail shrubs at special times throughout the year.  This includes privet hedge and selected shrubs throughout your property. This does not include any shrub over 12' tall or tree pruning.
  

Year End Clean Up & Winter Visits

• Our year-end clean up consists of leaf removal from all beds and grass during a visit process.  This is an on going process between October and March as there is residual leaf fall during these months. We will mulch the leaves into leaf mold wherever possible and add to shrubs beds for a great natural winter mulch. Your rhododendrons will love it!
